Normally, before I start doing a chapter, I pretty much write out the whole script, so I can adjust how long the different parts of the scene last. When I was writing the chapter about the boat trip, I decided to include one or two characters who were passing by in another boat, and they were just watching our heroes have fun.
Then I decided that if they came closer, the interaction would be more fun. Then I got them in the boat. And then a chapter that was supposed to be 140 pages became 220. Once they finished their part, I figured I'd leave a little more room for Angelo and Maria to close out the chapter, and to lighten the load of the rendering, I quietly deleted the two characters. From existence. Then a strange thing happened (at least by my standards), for the first time I received dozens of emails asking me to bring them back. I liked the idea, but the characters no longer existed. So I had to recreate them from scratch, using the images as a reference. But now I'm kind of attached to them too, so their part in the story isn't over. Both for Samantha's stories, of which they will become regulars, and for the main chapters...So here's the file.
